Dragon Fire Education is pleased to announce the availability of 6 online courses for Fire Protection Technicians. Technicians upon completion of each course receive a certificate of completion and a transcript of marks. These can, if the technicians so choose, be used to submit to ASTTBC under the Registered Fire Protection Technician (RFPT) program.

The courses should be taken in the order noted below for maximum benefit. Credit/exceptions can be granted for those with electrical Red Seal or previous certification from ASTTBC or CFAA. Discounts available for larger groups that are signed up under one employer.
Electrical for Life Safety, which is the prerequisite for both Emergency Light Test & Inspect and Fire Alarm 105 – Test & Inspect. This course includes material from 1st Year and 2nd Year electrical apprenticeship program and takes 30 to 36 hours to complete.
Emergency Light Test & Inspect, which takes 12 to 16 hours to complete.
Fire Extinguisher Test & Inspect, which takes 12 to 16 hours to complete.
Fire Sprinkler & Standpipe Test & Inspect, which takes 30 to 36 hours to complete
Fire Alarm 101 – Introduction to Fire Alarm Systems, which is based on the CFAA 1 material and takes 30 to 36 hours to complete.
Fire Alarm 105 – Fire Alarm Test & Inspect, which is based on the CFAA 5 material and takes 30 to 36 hours to complete.
